The Bathroom Tells Me So

I don't normally find luck in a bathroom, but yesterday was a little different. I reach for the toilet paper and there, sitting upon the holder, was a nice little piece of paper. A fortune to be exact. And this is what it said...

You will have a beautiful family.

Get OUT!! Where were you? I save fortune cookie fortunes. In fact, I had one taped to my mirror which read, "no one conquers who doesn't fight". I took it down recently and gave it away to this lady from my support group that meets at the RR hospital. Oh this is such a great sign! Sending you lots of prayers and positive energy..

Melissa-
I do not know you nor have I ever laid eyes on you, but I feel as though my heart and yours beat as one. As a sufferer and survivor of infertility and most recently, pregnancy loss, I empathize with your raw and most candid feelings. I almost screamed "YES-that is how I feel" at my computer as I read one of your blogs. I get the anxiety, the anguish, the disgust, the bitterness, the jealousy, the brokeness, the anger, the sadness, the longing, the grief, the tears, and the pain. I get it all and you won't hear me tell you what you need to do to get pregnant again or how you should grieve your loss. We all have grieve as a necessary part of our healing and with every inch of my being, I pray God's healing hand on you and "your babe". I also pray that one day, I will return to this blog and see that your "fortune" came true. In the meantime, know that you already have a perfectly beautiful family... a purposed family of 6! May God add to your life and bless you beyond all that we can hope or imagine as human beings. Lean on Him, scream at Him, continue praying to Him and know that when it is all said and done - He will sustain you and your family.
With warm regards and a heavy heart-
