Certainly Couldn't Have Said It Better Myself

Scene: The front porch chaos during school dismissal

Sweet 2nd Grader: "Mrs. V. are you going to have a baby?"

Me: "Yes."

Sweet 2nd Grader (without missing a beat): "I hope your baby doesn't die."

Me (pausing slightly): "Honey...me too."

Sweet 2nd Grader: "Bye!"

So matter of fact and so true.
33 weeks today and the c-section is scheduled.
Please let this happen because I'm not sure I could do this again if it didn't.

Just so you know...you are my hero. I don't even know you that well anymore since we lost touch way back when...I only know of your heartache through Missy and your blog and you are my total hero anyway. You are incredible and so is that sweet baby girl in your belly!!!

I think young children understand things better than many adults do.

I'm sure this child said these words with all the sincerity and purity that come from a child.

I bet you have lots of prayers going up from all of your FBE kids who love you dearly. And frankly, IMHO, I tend to think that children's prayers are the most powerful. :)

Do we get to know the date? ;)

YAY YAY YAY! Little Kallie? BEHAVE YOURSELF! :)

P.S. HATE 5th grade. I'd rather be in 6th than 5th.

Isn't it great that kids can say what they really think!
